2016 Parker Gann to Roanoke College

2016 Kings Black Face Off Midfielder Parker Gann has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Roanoke College in Salem, VA.  Gann will be joining the Maroons after they made it to the NCAA Division III playoffs eventually falling to #8 Salisbury.  Parker, a 6’0” 175 pound midfielder is a true jack of all trades at his position.  In his junior season, he won 177 face-offs for a 70% clip and contributed 25 goals, 11 assists and 50 groundballs after leading the Blue Devils to a state championship.  Gann also has garnered All-State honors as a sophomore and a junior over his three years as a varsity player for the Blue Devils.

“Parker is a great player that has worked to improve his hands at the X and does not back down from anyone.  His work ethic has allowed him to draw interest from many programs throughout this summer.  What makes Parker so appealing to colleges across the country is his ability to not only win the face off, but he can contribute as a scorer, feeder and do the dirty work to get a big groundball. Roanoke is getting a versatile player and a great kid who will do everything to help his team."
