The Commonwealth Kings Staff is composed of some of the area's top collegiate, high school, and middle school coaches who have excelled both in their playing days and on the sidelines. All share the common vision of growing the game in Central Kentucky and all are committed to seeing that happen.
Ben Schaefer
Ben Schaefer, Kings Co-Founder, earned 2 All-State selections at Tates Creek High School and was selected as a High School All-American his senior year. He went on to play at Division III Birmingham-Southern College, earning 2 First-Team All-Conference Selections. Ben also played a fifth year at Division I Jacksonville University. Ben has previously served as an assistant varsity coach for Tates Creek High School and head coach of the Lexington Lizards MS program.
Logan Otto
Logan Otto was a dominant attackman for Lexington Catholic High School. He garnered 3 All-State selections and is one of only 4 High School All-Americans selected from Lexington. Logan saw success in Missouri before his time in the Bluegrass, earning First Team All-Missouri and All-West Conference honors. Logan was previously the head coach for Scott County High School and Lexington Catholic High School. Logan then served as an assistant coach for Division III Transylvania University before being promoted to Head Coach. He is now in his third year of leading the Pioneers program.
