Declan Keegan to Wilmington College

2014 Woodford County Yellow Jacket Declan Keegan (Commonwealth Kings Black) has committed to Division III Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio.  Declan will be a member of the Wilmington Quakers.  Declan is a 5'7" attackman/midfielder that is one of Central Kentucky's most dynamic offensive players.  Keegan was recruited by multiple Division II and III programs across the country after strong showings for our Summer and Fall team tournaments and most notably making the All-Star game at Ohio State Team Camp.  As a junior, Declan recorded 20 goals and won over 57% of his face-offs for the Yellow Jackets.  Keegan has followed that up with a stellar senior season thus far recording 37 goals, 7 assists and 20 ground balls in 12 games.

"Declan is a dynamic offensive player that is going to make an immediate impact at WIlmington College.  He is a tremendous athlete and tireless worker in between the lines.  Declan's game is unorthodox but effective and has been fun to coach over the year. Coach Marzano is getting a player that has buckled down in order to reach his goal of playing college lacrosse.  I could not be more proud of the development Declan has made, not just as a lacrosse player but as young man of character."
