Collaboration is 🔑 —————————————————————————— This was a busy weekend for our Commonwealth Kings! Multiple 2027s were competing at the Inside Lacrosse Fall Cup with Silverbacks National and Sonics in addition to showcasing at the NXT Can Am event. A few of the fellas took home a championship at IL at one of the best recruiting events in the country! Our 31/32s had a great weekend at Can Am with a state team made of some of the best the Bluegrass has to offer! The future is BRIGHT! It is amazing to see the talent in our state being showcased through collaborative efforts! 🙏 #repKYlax

Get to know our Commonwealth Kings Directors: Ben Schaefer serves as Co-Founder and Director of Commonwealth Kings Lacrosse. A graduate of Tates Creek High School, Schaefer was a two-time All-State selection and High School All-American before continuing his playing career at Birmingham-Southern College (Division III) and Jacksonville University (Division I). Following his collegiate career, Schaefer transitioned into coaching, serving at both the high school and youth levels, including as an assistant at Tates Creek High School and with the Lexington Lizards program. As Director of the Commonwealth Kings, he leads the organization’s mission to develop skilled, competitive student-athletes and to advance the sport of lacrosse throughout the Bluegrass region. Coach Schaefer has been at the ground floor up in Central Kentucky lacrosse for over two decades! #repKYlax I #KentuckyProud

Big weekend for the Kings programs! 2027 High School program went out East at Autumn Gold to play some of the best teams in North America (BC 🇨🇦, NC, MD, VA & FL)! Always great to see our players showcase themselves in front of countless college coaches! The 2028/2029 team had a great run at the Music City Mayhem with a run tee up finish going 5-1 on the weekend! Lastly the 31/32s had a great scrimmage against one of the top teams in the Midwest this weekend and are dialed in for their next event! #repKYlax
